I guess after the first hamburger went up that this site's rebirth as a place to experiment with and discuss web design was, in fact, stillborn. For the best, I suppose. Now I can port this original site over to a more modern paradigm while not losing the rich and illustrious historical tapestry we've all woven here.

I'll be removing the web design posts and just dumping their comments under this post.

Bring on the burgers.

Here's something bloggy. I got hit with a pretty severe toothache last night. Didn't get to sleep much.

Today I went to the dentist. That meant making an appointment myself (a first), using my insurance (another first), and actually being told about findings and asked how I wanted to proceed with things (a big ol' freaky first).

The dentist implied that I have the teeth of a former meth addict (not shitting you) and I have two giant holes where two corroded-ass teeth used to be.

I can't quite put a finger on it, but somewhere between being an active participant in my health care and being in a position where I'm paying for the sins of my caustic youth, I'm feeling like quite the grownup this evening.
